About Seeds and Sprouts® Kids

Founded in 2017, Seeds and Sprouts® Kids is all about community: bringing frugal moms and dads together to keep gently used kids' items in circulation instead of in landfills. This brings low cost options for kids clothes, toys, gear and more to our WNC community while allowing folks to turn their kids' clutter into cash. In addition, SASK and its consignors  take the commitment to community a step further by pouring into foster families and foster partners right here in WNC.

Benefiting the Foster Community

At SASK, licensed foster care families in WNC are offered an opportunity to shop for free through unsold items marked as “donate” at the end of the sale. After this shopping time, any remaining items go directly to local foster care closets. Additionally, SASK donates a portion of its profits back to the WNC foster care community. When a foster family gets called to accept the placement of a new child in their home, they often have a day’s notice or less. Closets, like the ones SASK assists in filling, are essential to helping those families adequately prepare for their placements.

With this partnership in place, any items that SASK consignors opt to mark as “donations” that do not ultimately sell during the Presale or public sale dates will go directly to support WNC foster care families and foster care children. Additionally, items that we cannot accept during drop off due to reasons aside from safety/recall can be immediately donated upon consignor request.

Please consider selecting the "donation" option for all items that do not sell; it’s an incredibly simple way to make a profound impact and difference in the lives of children who have so little right in our community.

Mission Statement

The mission of Seeds and Sprouts® Kids is to be a Christ-centered, high-quality, best-value consignment sale dedicated to benefiting the local WNC foster community through donations and incentives for foster care families in our area.

How are We Different?

Community

When we began discussing the concept of Seeds and Sprouts® Kids, we placed a major focus on establishing a community of consignors that local parents wanted to be a part of. Making that vision into a reality is only possible when consignors, shoppers, and team members feel welcomed, appreciated, and truly enjoy their time participating in all Seeds and Sprouts® Kids events.

Developing community will continue to be at the forefront of Seeds and Sprouts® Kids' decisions and plans for the future. We hope you'll join our consigning community and come along for the journey with us!

Consigning for a Cause

We are far more than an upgraded and updated take on pop-up consignment events. In creating Seeds and Sprouts® Kids, we wanted to ensure our event would not only provide the consignors and shoppers in our community with a welcoming, fun, and high-quality sale where they could find fabulous deals for their littles, but also invest further into the greater WNC community. Our team is passionate about WNC foster care, and our sale directly benefits this area of crisis in WNC.

All items that our consignors opt to mark as “donate” that do not sell during the presale or public sale dates will go directly to support WNC foster care families and foster care children. Additionally, items that we cannot accept during drop off due to reasons aside from safety/recall can be immediately donated upon consignor request. We also contribute a portion of our profits to organizations benefiting the WNC foster community.

At Seeds and Sprouts® Kids, we believe in Jesus, quality, fun, and paying it forward! For further details on how we are partnering with WNC foster care, please email us at info@seedsandsproutskids.com
